"Wolverine stack" is the marketing name for BPC-157 and TB-500 sold together for recovery. Both compounds have been studied almost entirely in animals and cell cultures. Only BPC-157 has a legitimate registered human trial; a public registry search for TB-500 returns no genuine study of the compound at all. Nothing published examines the pairing, so the stack-level verdict is Unproven.

Which form actually works?
BPC-157 on its own
Unproven
A synthetic pentadecapeptide whose published record is dominated by rodent work. A 2025 literature and patent review reports no completed clinical study of efficacy in people, and the safety package is animal toxicology in mice, rats, rabbits and dogs. The public registry carries two entries for the compound: an older Phase 1 safety and pharmacokinetics study in healthy volunteers, and a Phase 2 hamstring-strain trial that began recruiting in 2026, the first registered trial to ask whether the compound changes an injury outcome in people.
TB-500 on its own
Risky
TB-500 is not thymosin beta-4 itself. Analytical work identified the material as the N-terminally acetylated 17-23 fragment, Ac-LKKTETQ. Human trials of thymosin beta-4 have run in heart attack, dry eye and wound care, but those tested the full-length protein rather than this fragment. TB-500 itself has no legitimate registered human trial: the only entry a public registry search returns is one whose own summary declares it a fictional example record, so the genuine count is zero. The 2026 WADA Prohibited List names thymosin-beta4 and its derivatives, TB-500 among them, under section S2.3.
The two together (the stack)
Unproven
No published study, in people or in animals, has examined BPC-157 and TB-500 as a pair, and the public trial registry returns no record of the combination. The synergy sellers describe is an inference from each compound's separate mechanism work. Nobody has run the experiment that would test it.
Third-Party Testing & Certificate of Analysis (COA)
A certificate of analysis (COA) is a lab document that reports what a specific batch of material actually contains. Reputable research suppliers publish one for every batch, tied to a lot number you can match against the vial you received.
- HPLC — purity
- High-performance liquid chromatography reports purity as a percentage: how much of the sample is the intended compound rather than impurities.
- Mass spectrometry (MS) — identity
- Mass spectrometry confirms identity by measuring the sample's molecular mass, so it matches the peptide the label names.
It also matters who ran the test. In-house results come from the seller's own lab; an independent third-party lab has no stake in the result, so its COA generally carries more weight. Look for a named testing laboratory, a batch or lot number, and a test date that lines up with the vial in hand.
